Know all men by these presents., that we John Baggett,
John Copeland & Thomas Alison all of the State of Tennessee & County
of Montgomery are held & firmly bound unto the Governor in & over
the State Aforesaid or his Successors in Office in the just Sum of
two hundred Dollars to be paid to said Governor or his Successors
in Office. Or their Assignees. Which payment well & truly
to be made. We bind Ourselves, our Heirs Executors & Administrators
jointly &, severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our Seals
& dated this 18th day of July 1815.
The Condition of the above Obligation is such
that if the above bounden John Baggett: Administrators of all & Singular
the goods & Chattels, Rights and Credits of.Henry Baggett de-
cease, do make or Cause to be made a true & perfect Inventory
of all & Singular the goods & Chattels, Rights & Credits of
the deceased which have or shall come into the hands. Knowledged
or possession of the said John Baggett, or into the hands or possession
of all others, person or persons for him, and the same so made do exhibited
as Cause to be exhibit unto our ensueing County Court, and the same goods,
Chattels, rights and Credits and al1others the goods, chattels rights &
Credits of the deceased at the time of his death. Which at anytime hereafter
comes unto the hands of any other person or persons for him. Do well &
truly Administer According to law; & further do make cause to be made
a true & just account of the Administration with in one year after
the date of these presents, and all the rest & residue of the said
goods, Chattels & Credits which may be found remaining on the said
Administrators Account, the same being first examined & allowed agreeable
to Law, shall deliver & pay unto such person or persons respectively,
as the same shall be due pursuant to the true intent and meaning of this
Administration, and if it shall appear that any Will or Testament was made
by the deceased & Executor or Executrix there to named do exhibit the
same into Court, making it allowed and approved of, Accordingly, if the
said John Baggett, there unto be requested, do render & deliver said
Letters of Administration Approbation of Such Testament being first had
& made in our said Court; then this Obligation to be Void else to remain
in full force in Law.
