Charles Hughes

ERIN- Charles W. Hughes, 76, Tennessee Ridge, died Wednesday at Trinity Hospital, Erin.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Nave Erin Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Cohn officiating. Services will follow Saturday or Sunday in Kingsport. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park, Kingsport.

Born Oct. 30, 1905 in Virginia, Mr. Hughes was the son of the late William Hughes and Armelda Bar­ton Hughes. He was a retired upsetter for Webb Forging Co., Detroit, Mich.

Survivors include his wife, Inez Arington. Tennessee Ridge; two sons, Frederick Lee Hughes and Harry Bryan Hughes of Tennessee Ridge; one daughter, Frances Dorner, Cleveland, Ohio; four broth­ers, Emmett Hughes and Clyde Hughes of Cleveland, Va., and Henry Hughes and Estle Hughes of Kingsport; one sister, Eula Bying­ton, Castlewood, Va.; and six grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
