ERIN -- Mrs. Vallie Rye Hughes. 65, died Saturday
night in
Trinity Hospital after a sudden illness.
<>Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nave Erin
Chapel by Archie Jarrett, minister. Burial will be in Cedar Hill
Cemetery.

Mrs. Hughes was born in Houston County Feb. 8, 1911,
daughter of the late Ale and Mae Brooks Rye. She was a member of the
Church of
Christ.
Survivors
are her husband, Mark Hughes: a son, James
Thurman Bailey, Alamagordo, N.
Mex.; three daughters. Mrs. Lillian Tidwell,
Nolansville, Tenn.; Mrs. Laverne Puckett, Vanleer; Mrs. Lovella
Davidson,
Sylvia, Tenn.; five brothers. Solomon, Rammy. and Charlie Rye, Erin;
Woodrow
Rye, McEwen; Lert Rye. Altha, Fla.; 15 grandchildren
