Mrs. Lane

<>Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Hughes Lane, 78, who died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of over two months, will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at Murphy's Funeral Chapel by the Rev. John D. Laida. Burial will be in Greenwood.

Mrs. Lane. a resident of 889 Cumberland Dr., was born in Montgomery Co. Dec. 7, 1896. daughter of the late James and Alice Kelly Hughes. Jan. 5. 1915, she was married to  James H. Lane who survives. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

<>Survivors in addition to her husband are three sons. Stanley U. and James H. Lane Jr.. Clarksville: Howard E. Lane, Lebanon, Tenn.: two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Tomlinson and Mrs. Helen Morris. Clarksville: two sisters. Mrs. Rose Oakley, Clarksville: Mrs. Eva Coughonour. Dayton O.: seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grand­sons, Bob and Bart Morris, Brannan, Gary, and Brian Lane, and D. Tomlinson.
