HENRI ETTA—Albert
Gallatin "Al" Hughes, 89, of Route 5, Ashland CIty died
Saturday at his home.
Services will be
at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Meggs And Son Funeral Home in Adams. The
Rev. Ken Haney and the Rev. Fred Hawkins will ofticiate, Burial will be
in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville.
Hughes was
a retired farmer. He was born in Simpson County Ky., on March 5, 1890,
the son of the late Tom and Mary Chism Hughes. He was a member of the
Olivet Baptist Church, and a veteran of World War.
He Is
survived by his wife, Minnie Koonce Hughes, Henrietta; two daughters, Helen
Smith, Old Hickory, and Mary Ann Gupton, Henrititta; three
sons, Robert Hughes, Albert Hughes and Ralph Hughes, all of
Henrietta; two half- ststers, Louise Draper and Bertha Ditmore, both of
Franklin, Ky.; one half-brother G.T. "Tinker" Hughes, GoodlettsvIlle;
and six grand-
children..
