Mrs. Hughes

ERIN--Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Mae Hughes 73, will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Cedar Valley Methodist Church with the Rev. Melvin Brooks and the Rev. Ellis Felts officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

<>Mrs. Hughes died Friday at Trinity Hospital after a sudden illness.

She was born in Houston. County on Sept. 10, 1900, The daughter of the late Robert and Donna Walker Brooks.--. Her husband,John J.Hughes,survives.

<>In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons: Thurman and Ewing Hughes, both of Erin; two daughters: Mrs. Addie Horn and Miss Betty Hughes, both of Erin; a brother Rodney Brooks, Erin; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Rogers and Mrs.Ether_ Brooks, both of Erin; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Rogers and Mrs, Ether Brooks, both of Erin, and Mrs. Lucy Baker,of McEwen; five grandchildren: and four great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Cedar Valley Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Jay W. Brooks, Billy J. Hughes, Bobby Dillard, Scotty Richardson, Lionel Rye, and James C. Walker.
