Services for Mrs. Callie Leona Hodges, 82, were held today at 2 p.m. at the Marion Methodist Church in Houston County by the Rev. Lloyd Ashley and the Rev. Clifton Green. Burial was in the church cemetery.
        Mrs. Hodges died Friday in Detroit, Mich., while visiting relatives there. She was a resident of Cumberland Furnace. Mrs. Hodges was born in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Henry and Drew Bowers Ferrell.
       Survivors include seven sons Morris L. Hodges, Walter Hodges Jr., Claudie Hodges and Clyde Hodges, all of Detroit, Lonnie Hodges, Cumberland Furnace, Douglas Hodges, Palmyra, and Calvin Hodges, Cunningham; a; daughter, Mrs. Claude Potts, Southside; a brother, Will Ferrell, Dickson, 30 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
       Pallbearers were James Hodges, J. D. Hodges, Randall Hodges, Bobby Hodges, Kenneth Hodges and Gary Hodges.  Arrangements were handled by Nave Funeral Home, Erin.
