Acey L Hodges, 47, 730 Gracey Ave., died Monday at Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Services will 1 a.m. Thursday at Sykes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Kanipe officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Sykes Funeral Chapel.
 
Born Jan. 29, 1935, in Montgomery County, he was the son of Fannie Neblett Hodges and the late Marshal Hodges.

Other survivors include his wife, Estelle Clinard Hodges; three brothers, Carl Hodges of Minnesota, James Hodges, Dallas, Texas, and Vernon Hodges, Clarksville; and a sister, Marie Abbott, Clarksville.

Pallbearers will be W.D. Gray, Robert Byard, Bill Bell, Curley Rushing, Charles Underwood and Donald Gibbs.
