HOUSE, 34th (Reconstruction) and 35th General Assemblies, 1865-69; representing Montgomery County; Unionist. A native of New Jersey, exact place and date of birth not known. Name of wife unknown; she was a native of Vermont. Children --  Cynthia, Guy, Lizzie, and a daughter,
A. H.  Wines lived in Michigan and Kentucky before coming to Montgomery County about 1857; he is described as a teacher and educator; head of Stewart College, Clarksville, in 1859. Postmaster at Clarksville, 1862 to Apr 1965; delegate to Union State Convention, Nashville, Davidson County, Jan 9, 1865. No additional information found.
