Services for Mrs. Lela Baker Ellis, formerly of Dickson,
of Dearborn, Michigan, were held Wednesday, October 2, in the chapel of
McFarland Foss Funeral Home. Burial was in Cadillac Memorial
Gardens in
Dearborn. Reverend Edward Coley officiated.
<>Mrs. Ellis, who was the daughter of
the late John Logan and
Ina Mae Burns Baker, died Monday, September 30 after an extended
illness. She
moved to Michigan forty-five years ago. She was a member of the
United Methodist Church.
<>Her survivors include her husband, A. H. Ellis; one daughter,
Mrs. Tyrus, (Virginia),.Collinsworth of Garden City, Michigan; four
sisters,
Miss Vera Baker of Dearborn, Mrs. Emerson (Dimple) Farrand of Dearborn;
Mrs.
Braxton (Teenie) Lee and Mrs. Ray (Louise) Baker, both of Dickson;
three
grandchildren.
