Alexander M. Allen’s Will
I Alexander M. Allen of the County of Montgomery & State of Tennessee
do make & constitute this my last Will & Testament. In the
first place I want and will that all my just debts be paid by my Executor
hereinafter named.
In the second place I will to Nancy Allen my Beloved sister one bed
and its furniture also bedstead and Fifty Dollars in Cash, the Cash to
be paid out of money or to be collected from notes that I may have at the
time of my decease;
In the third place It is my will & desire that all the residue
of my property be it real or personal or mixed or be it now in my possession
or whatever I may Inherit from the estate of my Father George Allen Senior
It is my will and desire that my affectionate Brother Bailey Allen inherit
the same from my hands .
Fourthly it is my will & desire that my friends Leigh Grice
& Samuel Wilson act as my Executors and that no security be required
of them to carry this my last Will and Testament into Effect further than
their personal Responsibilities.
Finally I submit myself to the Giver of All perfect & Good Gifts
