Miss Powers

  Miss Sue M. Powers, 92, died Thursday in Memphis following an extended illness.

  Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. T. W. Mayhew. Burial will be in Greenwood.

  Miss Powers, retired superintendent of the Shelby County Schools, of which she had been an employee for 45 years, was born in Montgomery County March 28, 1878. She was the daughter of the late Samuel B. and   Mary Williamson Powers and was a member of the St. John United Methodist Church in Memphis.

  Survivors are one niece and nephew.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
