Mrs. Gaither Olivia Parchman, 90 died at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Robert Claxton, Clarksville, after and extended illness.
Funeral services conducted at Nave Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Parchman was born in Stewart Co., Oct 5, 1883, daughter of the late Charlie and Mollie Smith Powers. Her husband Charlie W. Parchman, died Nov. 8, 1971. She was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to the daughter are four sons: William, George, Ewing, and Mitchell Parchman, Cumberland City, another daughter, Mrs. Harold Milton, Tennessee Ridge; a brother, Plummer Powers, Cumberland City; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Vaughn, Cumberland City, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
