James Gunson

 1981

  James Lewis Gunson 69, of Cum­berland City, died April 28 at Trin­ity Hospital in Erin following an extended illness.

  He was a retired farmer.  Services were held at 2 p.m. April 29 at Anglin Memorial Chapel with Eugene Daniel and the

Rev. Paul Ford officiating. Burial was in the Gunson Cemetery in Cumberland City.

  He was the son of the late Albert N. Gunson and Catherine Winches­ter Gunson and a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors are his widow, Ethel Moore Gunson, Cumberland City; two stepsons, Donnie Nolen, Cum­berland City, and Bill Nolen, Clarksville; three brothers, Ernest Gunson, Glen Burnie, Minn., John N. Gunson and Oscar Gunson, both of Nashville; three sisters, Cora Mount, Virginia Beach, Va., Eliza­beth Sine, Erin, and Irene Powers Cumberland City; and one grand­child.

  Pallbearers were William Co­chran, Charlie Hamilton, Jimmy Walden, Weldon Downs, Jimmy Lewis and James R. Lewis.
