Henry Clay Powers, 70, a former Clarksville resident, died Sunday in Pontiac, Mich.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Donelson-Johns Funeral Home, Pontiac, Mich.
Burial will be at the White Chapel, Birmingham, Mich.
He was born in Palmyra, and lived in Montgomery County for 21 years before moving to Michigan.
He was the son of the late Clay W. Powers and the late Bertha Nesbitt Powers.
Survivors are his wife, Roma Foust Powers, originally from
Sango;
two sons, Clay Thomas Powers,
South-field, Mich., and
Floyd Everett Powers, Dearborn, Mich.: four brothers,
Claude Powers, Clarksville, Louis
Wilson Powers, Memphis,
Barney Powers,
Memphis, and
Ambrose Powers, Paris, Tenn.; four sisters, Mrs. Ellis Hicks,
Clarksville.
Minnie Lee Voigt,
South Plainfield, N.J. Geneva Smith, Charlevoix, Mich. and Catherine
Rice Bridwell, Thousand Oaks, Calif. and five grandchildren.
