Walter Anderson Fort, 66, Adams, Tenn. farmer died Thursday at his residence of a heart attack.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the residence by the Rev. Gardner Burden, and Rev. Jack Palmer. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Guthrie, Meggs Funeral Home, Adams, in charge.

Mr. Fort was born in Adams, son of the late Joel and Sallie McKay Fort. He was a member of the Episcopal Church. Before retiring to his farm, he was connected 30 years with the National Life and Accident Insurance Co. in Nashville.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Eloise Hamill Fort; a brother. Dr. Duncan M. Fort, Nashville.
