MICHIE MAN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
James Albert McCain, 80, retired farmer, died Monday night at Hardin County General Hospital after a long illness.
He made his home in Michie, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 am. at Center Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Officiating minister will be Allen Milan. The body lies in state at the residence of Mrs. Dee Hollins of Route 2, Michie.
Mr. McCain lived most of his life in the Southside community. He was a member of the Counce Pentecostal Church.
He leaves three sons, Calvin McCain and Eldridge McCain, both of Michie; and Melvin McCain of Corinth; three daughters, Mrs. Lilly Webster, Houston, Mississippi, Mrs. Verlon McGee of Michie, and Mrs. Stella Hollins of Counce, Tennessee; 23 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Shackelford Funeral Home of Savannah, Tennessee will be in charge of arrangements.
