Last Will and Testament
of David M. Lewis, Deceased.
State of Tenn McMinn County to all who it may consern, I D.M. Lewis
do this day make my last will and testament revoken all other former will
made by me first I give to my son Nuton Lewis thirty acres of land on the
North end of my farm commencing at the walnut corner between me & J.C.
Cline running to the North and South line so as to include thirty acres
so as to include the well. I bequeath to my children Sarah Satifield
heirs Mandy Lee her heirs, Marrit Miller, Alice Gay. Lou Shaddon,
Nannie Dye her heirs Francis Hunt, Low Cardin to be equal in my estate
Except Sarah Satifild her heirs having one hundred dollar beforhand and
also Harrit Miller she having one hundred beforhand. I want the others
to maid equal with them then the remainder divided equal with the
rest except Nuton Lewis. My will is all beside what I have will to
my son Nuton Lewis to to be my wife S.E. Lewis during her live at her death
it is to be sold and divided as stated in the forgoing Will. I also
have a lot in North Athens I want it sold at once and I want Lou Shaddon
to have fifty dollars & my wife S.E. Lewis to have the remainder of
said lot. I want $40.00 dollars worth of my bacon sold to pay my
beril and funeral expences and to by tomestons to put at my head &
foot. I want my Wife S.E. Lewis to have all of my Personality as
long as sh lives at her deth I want is sold & devied equal among my
heirs. I want on can of lard sold at once to help pay my debts.
I hereby appoint A.M. White My Executor to wind up my will without going
to the Courts this the 19 day of Feb. 1915 signed in the presence
