The early life of Littleberry is a bit sketchy, but from the records
it is clear that Littleberry Moore, Joel Moore and Greenberry Hicks lived
near each other in the Mill
Littleberry could have become acquainted with Nancy Bond who was living with Greenberry Hicks, her guardian. The 1820 census of Monroe County,Kentucky list him with 2 sons and 2 daughters. In 1826 they have moved to McMinn County, Tennessee; he enters into
a land transaction with Alexander C. Robeson for 160 acres in the Hiwassee
District -- Grant 1492. He takes up land also by grant in May 1825,

In 1839 he takes up land in Bradley County, Tennessee in the Ocoee
District, 160 acres on tract 1106 for $2.00. In the 1840 census of
Bradley County, his only remaining children
His land is located in the Snow Hill area on the Bradley County side. In the census of 1860 his granddaughter Nancy Robeson lives with him after his wife's death. In the 1870 census his land is valued at $2,500 and his personal property is valued at $450. Living with him in 1870 are Lucinda aged 53 and most likely her daughter Martha aged 16.
