In the name of God Amen, I Thomas Neely<\/strong> being in a weak state of health, but in my proper mind do make this my last will and testament invoking all others, ~<\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly after all my just debts are paid I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Sally Neely<\/strong> all my household and kitchen furniture, during her life and at her death to be equally divided between my son William Neel<\/strong>y and daughters Jane Galloway.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Secondly I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Jane Galloway<\/strong> Formerily the wife of John _ Galloway<\/strong> Deceased a Negro man named Nathan<\/strong> a spinning machine my stock of cattle & ___ & at her own disposal _ behoof and that she Jane Galloway<\/strong> must pay my debts and live with her mother during her life & the Negro man Nathan work and support them as though I was still with them and she is to take care of her mother so long as her mother lives ~<\/span><\/p>\n

Thirdly as my son William & Isaac Neely<\/strong> and daughter Elizabeth McDaniel<\/strong> have had their portion of property I will and bequeath to William Isaac<\/strong> and my two granddaughters Daughters of Elizabeth McDaniel<\/strong> _ Catherine & Nancy<\/strong> my Negro woman Amy<\/strong> & my horse to be equally divided between them at their disposal and behoof and if there is any property has not been mentioned must be sold and equally divided between them all, I appoint & nominate my Daughter Jane Galloway<\/strong> my <\/span><\/p>\n

Executrix on this my last will and testament, This June 1st 1840.<\/span><\/p>\n
