\nMOTHER\u2019S NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH: Martha RAMSEY, Abt 1740
\nNOTES: Andrew was a Captain in the Tennessee Militia and a veteranof
\nthe War of 1812; he fought under Andrew Jackson in the Battle of New
\nOrleans.
\nAndrew was founder of the Methodist Episcopal Church  in ChapelHill,
\nTN.
\nAndrew and Jane are buried in the Swanson Cemetery  on MorningsideDrive
\nin Chapel Hill, TN.  The plot they are in is surrounded with astone
\nwall.  Markers are, of course, very old but legible.  Alsoin the
\nenclosure is a marker placed by the Daughters of The War of 1812. It
\nsays:  Andrew Patterson Capt 1 Reg Tenn Militia War of 1812<\/p>\n

Will written 7 Nov 1845 and probated 4 Jun 1849 names son:  Hardyand
