Frederick Fisher<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

FREDERICK FISHER <\/em> was born Abt. 1762 in North Carolina, and died May 18, 1846 in Marshall Co. Tenn..  He married MARY. <\/p>\n

Notes for FREDERICK FISHER<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n

Frederick joined the Virginia Militia with his brother, John, during the Revolutionary War. Frederick served as a private in Capt. Dysart’s Co. and was “severely”  wounded at the battle of King’s Mountain in Oct. 1780. He was disabled for the rest of his life and received a pension of $3.33 a month. He migrated to Marshall Co., Tn. where he later died and is buried in Liggett-Andrews Cemetery off Hwy 431 in Marshall Co. His name appears on a memorial to Revolutionary War heroes at a replica of Marshall Co.’s original courthouse at the junction of Yell Rd. and Cornersville Hwy. in Lewisburg.<\/p>\n

Frederick Fisher was born in  1762 in Virginia. He was a private in the Virginia Militia ( see above ), and was wounded in the Battle of King’s Mountain. One source says he had one son, Jacob, born in 1787. His or Jacob’s wife was named Mary. There is a  Fisher family book at Marshall Co. Library where much of info about Frederick can be  obtained. <\/p>\n
