I am looking for information on EAVES around Jasper, Tn from abt.
1930's until now. John Rich Eaves is believed to have the sheriff there
at one time. His wife's name was Florence. John EAVES and his son Leon
may have run a store in Jasper in the 1950's and 60's. All the
aforementioned people are deceased, but, I am trying to verify info on
them and find Leon EAVES' daughter, Margaret Elizabeth EAVES, may be her
name and she would probably be her 50's now. I don't have any idea about
her married last name. John Rich EAVES was my Grandmother's brother and

I am looking for information about a Stephen THOMPSON, b. 1764 Granville
Co,NC, who lived in Marion County probably starting around 1808. He was
living with a Stephen Hicks in Delphi in 1836. When and where did
Stephen die? Was he married? Did he have any children? Was this
Stephen Hicks related to him?

info on Andrew Porter Winkler b.3 Oct 1884 and his father Levie Benton
Winkler b. 1856. Andrew P.Winkler was married to Louella Hall who was
b.14 Jun 1888. Levie Winkler was married to Nellie Parlee Sites (Sykes)

Hi,
I'm looking for descendants of John N. Dawson. He was born in
1835 in SC, raised in GA, married Sarah House in 1859, moved to
Marion Co. TN around the Civil War, had 7 children in the Jasper
area, and is buried at Glober (Glover?) Hill Cem. Surnames of
descent include Thack, Roberts, Poe, McNabb, Campbell, and Vanallman.

Peter Henry BROWN married Lydia JONES 30 Nov 1841 Coweta Co. GA. They
lived in Coweta, Walker Co's. Ga and Marion and Sequatchie Co's Tn.
Believe Lydia was sister of James Roland JONES of Walker Co. Ga. Who
were Peter's parents, siblings? He had known brothers Leroy, Madison
(Matt), possibly half brothers and sisters as his mother remarried when
he was quite young. There is a connection with the SPEARMAN family,
possibly Peter's mother or grandmother. Peter and Lydia named children
Elizabeth E., James Madison, Gabriel Spearman, Nancy Ann, Sarah Jane

Would like to know the ancestry and origin of John CUNNINGHAM who arrived
in Marion Co., TN, in ca. 1821. He was b. 8 Jul 1784 and died Marion Co.
6 Feb 1842. Wife was Jane Ellie (HENDERSON) CUNNINGHAM, b. 6 May 1779,
d. 15 Aug 1868. He aquired considerable land holdings in Marion Co.
including a 5,000 acre track of land in partnership with Samuel B.
Mitchell and William Anderson in 1840. May have been involved in coal
mining. Children: Elizabeth , b. 1802, m. Wm. McMURRY, d. 1848; Riley
Alexander, 1805; Amy Homes, b. 1807, m. James M. KELLY; John D., b. 1810,

Mary (DILLARD) COCKS(COX). William died in White Co., TN in
1814. Children were Joshua (married Sarah SHOCKLEY), Reuben,
Thomas, Andrew J.(married Mary Ann SHOCKLEY), Henry, Rebeckah
(married Uriah SHOCKLEY), William, and John. William and Mary
came from around Carroll County, VA probably around 1812. This

by Reverend George WALKER" This is my great-grandparents. Please
