Interested in information about the marriage of James Benjamin Levan
nicknamed Fate
b: abt setp 11,1872-1874 Victoria, TN d: Feb 1960 Empire,WalkerCo, AL.
and Mollie (Mary Lilia?) Teague abt 1897.
Mollie was born to Adolphus Teague (?James Adolphus) and ? Oneal? and had
siblings
Jim and Ellen TEAGUE.
James B LEVAN was I believe the son of James B Levan (III?) and
Nancy Elizabeth. They moved from Grundy Co., TN to Marion Co in the
1860s.
A family book lists Mollie's birthplace as Warrior, AL but I believe that
to be incorrect since the Tracy City, TN (Marion Co) is the place of
the TEAGUE FAMILY CEMETERY
and also belived to have a LEVAN FAMILY CEMETERY there or in the
vicinity. My Grandpa
is believed to have had a brother William/"Will" and a sister
Margaret/"Maggie" and other family members less known by his
family are
Virginia and Alas/Alice. It is believed his father James III
married again between 1880 and 1900 to a Mary L. and had several other
children:
Andrew, Laura, Mattie, Lillie, John and Fannie.
Any information appreciated. I am trying hard to make a connection to
James III.
Any information about ancestors also appreciated.
Thank you

Henry & Jasper Dawson. I am searching for information on my
GGrandfather's line. Henry Dawson(?) married to Elizabeth A. Raulston
(1825-?)(of the Col. James Raulston line) parents of Jasper Dawson (1855-

For some reason NO family communication was permitted to the son William
Knox Dawson, which left much to the imagination as children but as adults
we now seek facts and reasons. I am at a standstill on vitals and
locations. Any assistance would be appreciated. If interested I have
