E. R. Russell, Former Citizen Passes Away

End comes at New Orleans Hospital-
Funeral services at Rogers Funeral Home Saturday afternoon

Funeral services were held Saturday for Elmer Royce Russell, 37, chemist for Continental Oil co. who died Wednesday in a New Orleans hospital. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. CST, from the chapel of the Rogers Funeral Home here, with the Rev. G. A. McGrew officiating. Interment followed in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Russell was born and reared in Richard City. He graduated from South Pittsburg High School and the University of Chattanooga.

Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Russell of Jasper; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Ragan of [the newspaper chopped this off here and not continued]
