Will

Know all men by these presents;

That I, Silas McNabb, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament:

First: I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid after my death.

Second: I have heretofore given my two sons, Beard McNabb and John McNabb in lands, the sum of $4000.00 each and have only given up to this time my son David McNabb $2000.00, and I desire to, and do by this instrument devise to my son David McNabb, the sum of $2000.00 to make him equal with the other two heirs.

Because of the fact that my son, David, is now in need of funds for his support and because of his incapacity to look after his affairs, I may, before my death advance a part of the money going to him in the above devise, and should I do so, any part so advanced before my death will be charged against the same.

The residue of my estate, after paying my funeral expenses and debts, If any and the devise to my son, David as above set forth, is to be divided equally between my children, Beard, David and John McNabb.

I nominate and appoint F.A. Kelly, Executor of this my last will and testament. To serve without bond. He is also clothed with full authority to wind up the estate as quickly as possibel [sic] and to this end is vested with the power to sell and dispose of any real estate or personal property on hand at my death, either at public or private sale and convert the same into money to be divided as above set forth.
