Will of Lot Warren

I, Lot Warren, of Jasper, Tennessee, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and
publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all wills by me at any former
time made.
1. I will and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be first paid by my executors.
2. I give, will and devise to my beloved wife, Nancy Warren, for and during her natural life my
home place where I now live in Jasper, Tenn., being the place I bought from Mrs Ferguson which
is fully described in a deed recorded in the Register’s office at Jasper, Tenn,. in Book
G.G.G., page 72, together with all personal property in or around said house, and in connection
therewith to maintain same as a home.
3. I give, will and devise the remainder interest in my home place above described and the fee
simple interest in my other real estate, same being my old home place in Southeast Jasper, Tenn,
to the following:
My Son J.T. Warren, 1/7 interest; my grandchildren, the heirs of my deceased daughter, Sallie
Quarles, a 1/7 interest; Joe Warren, my Son, a 1/7 interest; Jack Warren, my Son, a 1/7 interest;
Myrtle Colston, my daughter, a 1/7 interest; Jim Warren, my Son, a 1/7 interest; and my
step-daughter, Sarah Holoway, a 1/7 interest.
4. It is my will and desire that such money as I may leave be held by my executors during the
period in which my said wife, Nancy Warren, is applying for pension and should said pension be
allowed it is my will and desire, and I so direct that my money be divided into seven parts and
out to the persons and in the proportion as set out in section three above; but should said
pension be denied my wife, then I direct that said money be held by my executors and paid out
to my wife in a way as to give her reasonable support, my executors to judge thereof, and at
her death, the remainder be divided into seven parts and paid out as above provided.
I hereby nominate and appoint my Son J.T. Warren and my Step-daughter, Sarah Holoway, the sole
executors of this my last will and testament and direct that they be excused from making bond.
