THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF B. F. PATTON OF SOUTH PITTSBURG, TENNESSEE.
I, B. F. Patton, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee do hereby make, publish and declare the following
as and for my last will and testament:
I first direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my death as
can conveniently be done.
Then all the rest, remainder and residue of my estate, real, personal and mixed, I give and
bequeath absolutely and forever, subject to the condition next mentioned, to my wife, Claire
Patton.
If my wife, Claire Patton, should again marry, I direct that all if my estate then remaining
shall be divided equally, share and share alike between my wife, Claire Patton and our children,
the children of my deceased child taking their father or mother’s share.
I hereby nominate my wife, Claire Patton, as executrix of this my last will and testament, and
excuse her from giving any bond as such.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name in the presence of Alan S. Kelly and
R.O. Patton whom I have requested to become subscribing witnesses hereto, this the 11th day of
February, 1924.

The foregoing instrument was signed, subscribed and declared by B.F. Patton as and for his last
will and testament in our presence and we, at the same time, at his request and in his presence
and in the presence of each other, hereunto sibscrib [sic] our names as subscribing witnesses.
