I, Daniel Pitman of Marion County, Tennessee, do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made.

Item 1. I direct that all my just debts, including funeral and burial expenses of administration, be paid by my executor out of the first money moneys that may come into his hands.

Item 2. I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Mandy Pitman, fifty dollars in cash, horse, buggy, cows and hogs. And my home place at Victoria, Tennessee, as long as she remains a widow and wants to make it her home.

Item 3. I give, devise and bequeath to Ethel Layne Twenty dollars, Elva Layne Twenty dollars, Byron – Layne twenty dollars, Eunice Layne twenty dollars being the heirs of my daughter, Ida Layne, deceased.

Item 4. I give, devise and bequeath to Ollie Bennett twenty dollars, Annie Bennett twenty dollars,, being the heirs of my daughter Mary Bennett deceased.

Item 5. I give, devise and bequeath to Sherman Pitman twenty dollars, Lillie Pitman, twenty dollars, being heirs of my son B. F. Pitman deceased.

Item 6. I give, devise and bequeath to Virgie Griffith twenty dollars being heirs of my daughter Katy Griffith deceased.

Item 7. After the above bequeaths, the remainder, if any, yo [sic- to] J. W. Pitman my son. I, also, will and bequeath to my son, J. W. Pitman my home place at Victoria, Tennessee, after my wife Mandy Pitman’s death or in event she does not comply with the terms of this will.

Lastly; I hereby nominate and appoint F.A. Kelly sole executor of this my last will and testament.
