Will of R. M. Johnston

I, R. M. Johnston, of Jasper, Tennessee, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish this
my last will and testament, hereby revoking and all wills by me at any former time made.
I direct that my executor first pay of [sic] my just debts and funeral expenses.
I give and devise and bequeath all my property of every kind and nature to my son and three daughters,
Sam Johnston, Mrs. Radie Barnett, wife of Bee Barnett, Mrs Nancy Barnett, wife of Jim Barnett, and Mrs
Martha Jane Brown, wife of Jessie Brown, and to the three children of my deceased daughter, Mrs Effie
Hale, who reside in Kansas, the said estate to be divided in four parts, one part each to my said children
and one part to be equally divided between my said three grandchildren. For good and sufficient reasons
known to me, I do not give anything to the widow and children of my deceased son, Charlie Johnston.
I hereby nominate and appoint my son, Sam Johnston, sole executor of this my last will and testament.

Because my son, Sam Johnston has moved away since the making of my last will and testament, I, R. M.
Johnston, appoint in his place and stead as sole executor of this my last will and testament, W. B. Wood,
and he is excused from making bond.
