I Leroy C. Choat of the county of Marion State of Tennessee do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. And first I direct that my body be decently interred. First I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my executors from any portion of my estate real or personal. Secondly; I give and bequeath to my wife Mary J. Choat my land that we now live upon being in the 8th civil district of said county, and bounded as follows, beginning at a stake on the J. H. Graham line at the southwest corner of W. R. Choats tract on which he now lives running east 20 degrees south with with W. R.Choats line one hundred and sixty poles to the section line, thence south twenty west forty three poles thence west twenty north eighty poles to a stake thence south twenty twenty four poles to Thomas Henegars corner thence west twenty North eighty poles to Grahams line sixty seven poles thence North twenty east with Grahams line sixty seven poles to the beginning containing by estimation fifty-five acres more or less to have and hold during her natural life and at her death to be equally divided between her bodily heirs by me. And all my personal effects of all kinds and description whatsoever.

I appoint my son W. C. Choat executor to carry out in full this my will in testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal.
