Will of James B. Roulston

I James B. Roulston, of Marion County, Tennessee, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking all previous wills heretofore made by me.

I.

I desire that out of my real and personal property my just debts should be paid.

II.

After the payments of my debts I will and devise the rest and residue of my property, real and personal and mixed, of what ever kind and character and where ever situated, of which I may die seized and possessed, to my sister Mrs. L. M. A. Lancaster, wife of Joseph G. Lancaster, of Jasper, Tennessee, absolutely and without condition.

We the undersigned, have this day, at the request of the testator, James B. Roulston, seen him sign and heard him acknowledge the execution of the above will. Same was signed and acknowledge by him in our presence and we attest same as witnesses in the presence of each other and in his presence.

Codicil to the will of James B. Roulston, executed on June 9th 1905.

I James B. Roulston on account of the precarious condition of the health of my sister bereby add This codicil to my will executed on June 9th 1905. So as to make the second paragraph of said will read as follows: After the payment of my debts, I will bequeath all the rest & residue of my property where ever situated and whatever kind and character to my sister Mrs. L. M. A. Lancaster absolutely and without condition, in the event she shall be living at the time of my death and in the event of her death before my death then shall all said property of which I may die seized and possessed shall go to her children share & share alike.
