Will of Thomas Henegar

I Thomas Henegar being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills by me at any time made.

First. I direct that all my debts including funeral expenses be paid.

Second:- I bequeath and devise to my wife Annie Henegar all my real and personal property to have and to hold during life. At her death, I devise to my daughter Dama [sic- short for "Didama"] Hill wife of Thomas Hill and to her husband my home place situated in old 8th Civil District of Marion County, Tenn. Bounded East by the Burns land and north, west and south by Graham lands.

I direct that the land which own on Tennessee river bounded on north west by the river on east by Price and Choat on south by Graham situated in 8th district of Marion County Tennessee shall after the death of my wife Annie Henegar be by my executor sold at public sale to the highest bidder after being advertised at three public places in the district by written poster for ten days – sale to be on credit of six and twelve months; and the proceeds of sale together with any personal property which may remain after the death of my wife and the payment of her debts and funeral expenses my executor shall divide equally between my five children to wit:- 1st Sarah Blevins, 2nd Thomas Hiram Henegar, 3rd Mrs Tennie Shelton, 4th Mrs Mary Haswell 5th John Henegar. For the purpose of carrying this provision into effect I hereby authorize and empower my executor hereafter named to execute to the purchaser of said land proper deed of conveyance with full covenants of Warranty, binding on my heirs.

I hereby nominate and appoint Thomas H. Hill and Chas C. Moore to act as the executors of this Will. This July 26th 1907

Moore hereby certify that we subscribed the foregoing will on this July 26th 1907 at the request of the testator and in his presence and in the presenve of each other and the testator signed the foregoing in our presence and acknowledged the same to be his last will and testament
