I W. R. Rankin do hereby publish this my last will and testament revoking all others
Item 1

I direct that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be paid.
Item 2
Because of the love and affection I feel for my dear wife Louise J. Rankin it is my will and
desire that she shall have all of the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal,
absolutely and in fee simple.
Item 3
In the event that I survive her for life is uncertain then it is my desire that my estate be
equally divided between our five Children, but each share to be charged with any advancements
made during my life. In the event any one of the children should die childless then the portion
of such decendant shall be equally divided among the remaining children. But in the event any
one of the children should die leaving children then such children shall take the portion that
would have fallen to the deceased parent.
Item 4
It is my will and desire that my beloved wife and our beloved son Charles [? middle initial]
Rankin act as executors of this my last will and testament and that no bond be required of
either of them.
Given under my hand on this the 30
th day of April 1900.
