Will of James Doss

I, James Doss of So Pittsburg Marion County, Tenn. And being of sound mind and memory do make and declare this to be my last will and testament, to wit:- It is my will and desire that first my funeral expense be fully paid, and second that all my legal debts be fully paid; and it is my will and desire that after all my debts and funeral expenses are paid that Joe Pendergrass and Brice Pendergrass have all the rest of my property both personal and realty, that I die posessed [sic] of, and I will and bequeath to the said Joe and Brice Pendergrass all my property of every kind for them to equally share in it: and I hereby appoint W. F. McDaniel of So Pittsburg Tenn, as my Executor, said Executor to act without bond. And I hereby revoke all former wills by me made, and do publish and declare this to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal, this 13th day of July 1900. And I appoint B. A. Heard as Atty for my Estate.

We, B. A. Heard and John Parker, having been called by the testator to witness this his will, and we sign as witnesses in the presence of said James Doss and in the presence of each other.
