Will of James W. McReynolds

I James W. McReynolds of Marion County Tennessee do make and publish this as my last will and
testament hereby revoking any former will which I may have made.
First. I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my executrix herein
after named out of any money or personal property which may come into her hands after my death.
Second. I direct that out of my personal estate which may come into the hands of my executrix,
after paying my debts and funeral expenses, my executrix pay over one hundred ($100) dollars to
my daughter Lucretia Vance if she be living at my death. If not, then said one hundred dollars
is to be paid to her daughter Fannie or to her legally appointed Guardian if she be a minor.
Third. I hereby devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate, real and personal,
to my Beloved wife Martha McReynolds, the personal property absolutely and the real estate for
and during her natural life and at her death to be equally divided between my two children by
my said wife, Martha, to wit Hope McReynolds and John Elizabeth Howard, wife of J. P. Howard.
Should either of my said children die before the death of my wife, without issue, then the
share of such deceased shall go to the survivor. If my said children or either shall die before
their mother does having issue, the share of such child or children shall go to his or her issue.
Lastly. I nominate and appoint my wife Martha McReynolds as Executrix of this will and release
her from giving bond and security.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal.
