Know all men by these presents that I J. G. Prigmore (J. G. Prigmore) do make this to be my last will and testament concerning my estate

1^st

I will and request that all my lawful debts of every kind be paid, including not only funeral and burial expenses but such other honest and legitimate debts that I may owe.

2^nd

After this is done I hereby will, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Laura M. Prigmore, all of my Real Estate, personal property, mixed property notes, accounts choses in action, and in fact all of my estate remaining after the aforesaid claims are paid, she to have and to hold the same unto herself during her natural life time. To hold the same in absolute fee during her life with provisions to do with the same as she may please. After her death the remainder if my estate whatever it may be is to go to my legal heirs

3^rd

In case my mother-in-law Mary Richards shall out live my wife Laura Prigmore, then she, Mary Richards is to have the use and controll of my present residence in South Pittsburg, Tenn. Viz Block 19 of Plat of said City. It being the place where I now reside. After her death the same to go to my legal heirs, it being my intention to give Mrs Mary Richards a home during her life time but not otherwise.

4^th

I hereby name and and [sic] appoint as the Executors of this my last will and testament, E W Prigmore and J. A. Prigmore, my brothers, they to serve without bond. But they are to dispose of and wind up my estate as soon as possible after my death and report the same to my wife. For this service they are to receive a reasonable compensation.

Witness my hand this Aug 26th 1898 and I acknowledge before J S Deakins & G E Deathridge that this will was read to me in their presence and I signed the same before them as my will.

The above will was read to said J. G. Prigmore and we at his request signed it as witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other, He stating to us it was his will, this Aug 26th 1898
