State of Tennessee
Marion County

In the name of God Amen. I Sarah McCoy being of Sound and disposing memory and mind do by these presents make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others at any time by me made.

1st After my death I will and desire that all of my just debts be first paid out of any monies that shall first come into the hands of my Executor after the payment of my funeral Expenses.

2d I will desire and bequeath to Lucinda Martin twenty acres of my land to be laid out in such way as to include the dwelling house in which I now live and some timbered lands for necessary timbers and fuel for [illegible]. I further bequeath to Lucinda Martin one of my cows & calf and one feather bed and four chairs all to be Selected by Lucinda Martin

I also will and bequeath to Lucinda Martin my big Wheel and pot or Kettle also all necessary bed cloths for her bed herein willed to her.

3d I will and bequeath to Mary McBee wife Sylus McBee my Bureau.

4d I will desire and bequeath to John Lourie of Monteagle all the balance and remainder of my property both real and personal Said John Lourie having been very Kind and generous to me in caring for me in my old age and infirmity.

I hereby nominate and appoint Robert C. Francis to be the Executor of my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and published this my last will and testament in the presents of W. F Kellogg and W. A Kilgore whom I have called and requested to subscribe their names hereto as subscribing witnesses made, sealed, signed published and delivered in the presents of myself and both of said subscribing witnesses on this the 25 day of September Eighteen Hundred and Eighty Eight

Subscribed, sealed and published in our presents We each having been called and requested by Mrs. Sarah McCoy to attest the same as subscribing witnesses We each published the same in the presents of the Estatrix[sic] and at her request in her presents and in the presents of each other on this 26 day of Sept. A.D. 1888.
