I Cathrine Ellis in the county of Marion state of Tennessee being of Sound mind and memory
and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore give to my
sister Nancy Ellis and my brother Jacob Ellis all of my rights and Interest in all of the
lands that I am seized and possessed of at my death
And also all of my personal effects this the 4th day of May 1879

Personally appeared before me W F Lewis Deputy clerk of the court of said county Robert
Smith and Silas McNab Subscribing witnesses to the attached will who being first duly sworn
depose and say that they are personally acquainted with the within named Cathrine Ellis the
bargainor and that she acknowledged the same in their presence to be her act and deed for
the purpose therein contained
