Will of Sereney Pickett

I Sereney Pickett do make and Publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all others by me at any time made

First I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible and of any moneys that I may die possessed of or that may first come Into the hands of my executor

Secondly I give and bequeath to Louisa Burnett (my sister) and her heirs all my notes accounts Cloths house hold and Kitchen furnature[sic] & my undivided interest in Ruth Picketts (my step mothers) dower

Thirdly I also give her and her heirs all my personal property

Lastly I hereby nominate and appoint Samuel Burnett (husband of Louisa J Burnett) my executor In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand this the 3rd day of February 1879

Signed and published in our presents and we have subscribed our names hereto In the presence of the testator this the 3rd day of February 1879

Personally appeared before me John L Minter clerk of the County Court of said County Robt Looney and Joel H Looney subscribing witnesses to the attached will who being first duly sworn depose and say that they are personally acquainted with the within named Sereney Pickett the bargainor and that she acknowledged the same in their presence to be her act and deed for the purpose therein contained. Witness my hand at office this 2nd day of June 1879
