Portrait of James Vaulx

This is a picture of James Vaulx (1783-1862). His wife was Eliza Geddy Fenner (1799-1845), who was one of the founders of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Jackson. There was a stained glass window in the church which James put there in her honor. It was destroyed in last year's tornado. Eliza was a daughter of Dr. Richard Fenner, an early settler in Cotton Grove.
