H. &#8211; (d. 1871)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Title: Tribute of Respect<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At a called meeting of Jackson Hook and Ladder Company No. 1., on the occason\u00a0<em>[sic\u00a0<\/em> of f the death of <strong>Jno. H. NEGLEY<\/strong>, a member of the Company, the following resolutions were adopted, to-wit:<\/p>\n<p>Whereas, It has pleased Almighty God, in the dispensation of his wise Providence, to remove from our midst our beloved comrade, Jno. H. NEGLEY, therefore<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Resolved\u00a0<\/em>That in the death of<strong> John H. NEGLEY<\/strong> this Company loses one of its bravest and most efficient members, and the community a useful citizen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Resolved,\u00a0<\/em>That we accompany his remains in a body to the grave, that we wear the usual badge of mourning for thirty days, and that the Secretary be instructed to send a copy of these resolutions to the family of our deceased Brother.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Resolved,\u00a0<\/em>That the<em>\u00a0<\/em>Whig and Tribune and\u00a0<em>Jackson Democrat<\/em> be requested to publish these resolutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>H.D.
