MCCLELLAN
I am looking for information on a Shelby Patton MCCLELLAN. No
definite birthdate is known, but the year should be 1901. Shelby
Patton MCCLELLAN was born in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee (Macon
County). He was married (no actual marriage date known) to Dorris
COMPERRY in 1926 (they could have actually married before 1926) and
the couple lived in Nashville, Tennessee. They evidently divorced
possibly around 1929 or 1930 (Dorris COMPERRY eventually re-married
so that's how I know they either divorced or she was widowed.) I
have no additional information on Shelby Patton MCCLELLAN. I do know
that he was a mechanic/laborer. Any information that anyone could
provide would be greatly appreciated.

WALLACE, WALLIS
WALLACE-WALLIS Need any information on Andrew WALLIS/WALLACE. He married Margaret CALBREATH in 1796 in Augusta County, Virginia. Andrew and Margaret were present in Augusta, VA for the settlement of Margaret's father's estate,Thomas Calbreath (also spelle
d Galbraith), in 1801. Nothing is known of them until the 1830 census where Margaret appears as the head of household in Smith County Tennessee suggesting Andrew was deceased prior to 1830. Andrew and Margaret had a son, who I am descended from, named Tho
mas M. WALLIS/WALLACE. He was born in 1805 and claims Smith/Macon County, TN. as his place of birth. Thomas M. WALLIS/WALLACE married Jane CALBREATH, his cousin,
in ca. 1825.Thomas M. WALLIS/WALLACE appears in census of 1840, 1850, as head of household with Margaret as a member of his household. Possible siblings of Thomas M. WALLIS/WALLACE are
David,James,Jefferson, William C.and Sarah. Any information regarding Andrew WALLIS/WALLACE or Andrew W. WALLIS/WALLACE is dearly needed. Will exchange information

It is known that Oliver B RICHARDSON and his son Jesse C RICHARDSON as well as Samuel COX all died in Macon Co on Sept 14, 1892. COX may have been a deputy sheriff. Does anyone else have Macon Co ancestors with this death date? Do you know anything that

FERGASON/FERGUSON,PENDLETON
I am searching for parents and other relatives of Thomas Lafayette
FERGASON/FERGUSON b.1851 married Mary Elizabeth PENDLETON, I believe
there may be a connection between William B. FERGUSON b.near
LaFayette, Macon Co, TN, in 1853. Supposedly The Two brothers came to Texas
and Thomas settled in Somerville co. TX area and the other brother
went elsewhere. I know that W.B.Ferguson came from Macon Co to Tx in
Oct of 1875 and went to Ellis co. TX. I do not know name of Thomas' brother so I am just following a hunch.Thomas never had contact with his brother again. Thomas's mother left TN with her sons and is
buried next to Thomas but only listed as mother of Tom Fergason. Mary Elizabeth is supposed to be cherokee and was called "dink". Could Someone check 1870 Census for me or help me with info on surnames mentioned. Thank you.

SISCO, SHRUM, KIRBY
I'm interest in these families in Macon County between 1850 and 1900.
My great grandfather William Henry Sisco married Mary Elizabeth Kirby
in 1880. There first 4 children Charlie Curtis, Hattie Belle,
Burnettia Hogan, and Jennie Wells were born in Willette. Williams
mother Sarah Evaline SHRUM SISCO married Henry M. Lovelady sometime
after 1880 (I believe in Macon County)they had no children. Although
the family history before 1880 appears to be Jackson County the
marriages of William and Sarah in Macon County leads me to believe
their farm was near the Jackson/Macon county lines. Any information
on these familes would be greatly appreciated.

KNIGHT, LANE
Searching for info on my ggf, Isaac Perry KNIGHT or Perry Isaac
KNIGHT, born 1878 TN. He married Kitty (possibly Kate or Katherine)
LANE ca 1899. They had four sons, Henry Clay, Joseph, John, and
William Bert, my grandfather. By 1929, they were living in Newport,
Jackson Co, Ark. I can't find Isaac/Perry as a 1-3 year old child in
the 1880 Macon Co. census book, but he is listed as a married adult
in the 1900 census. I think the 1910 census burned, and he's not in
the 1920 census. Hoping to contact other KNIGHT & LANE researchers.
