Personal Notes: From the newspaper clipping: Known to a host of friends and acquaintances as "Aunt Emma", she had lived here since 1865, coming to Westmoreland as a young woman of 31 at the conclusion of the War Between the States. This entire community joined in the celebration of her last birthday party Feb. 20.
