She is survived by her husband,<strong> Elijah Russell;<\/strong> one son,<strong> Lawrence Russell,<\/strong> with whom she made her home; one daughter, <strong>Mrs. Sam Dyer<\/strong>, of Nashville; a sister, <strong>Mrs. Alice Shrum<\/strong>, of Illinois; and three brothers, <strong>Frank, Benton, and Claude Steen<\/strong>, all of Lafayette or nearby.<\/p>\n<p>The remains were laid to rest about three o\u2019clock Friday afternoon in the Nelse McDonald Cemetery, following funeral services conducted by<strong> Elder Calvin Gregory<\/strong>, The deceased, who was the daughter of<strong> Elihu Steen,<\/strong> was a member of Beech Bottom Baptist church for many years.
