She was a native of Macon County, the daughter of <strong>James Franklin and Ellie White Hire<\/strong>. Her husband, <strong>Herbert Perdue<\/strong>, and one son, <strong>Clessie Perdue<\/strong>, preceded her in death. <strong>Clessie<\/strong> was killed in WWII.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services were held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Austin Funeral Home in Lafayette by Rev. H. S. Jenkins, interment was in the Underwood Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include three sons<strong>, Dennis and James Perdue,<\/strong> both of Peoria, IL., <strong>Darrell Perdue<\/strong> of Tipton, IN.; four daughters <strong>Mrs. J. C.
