Miss Nealie Meador Answers Call of Death
Another Lafayette lady, Miss Nealie Meador, was called by death at one o’ clock Saturday afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Alice Pitchford, with whom she had made her home for many years. She was never married and survived by two brothers, Sam Meador of Lafayette; and Johnnie Meador of Maple Grove; and one sister, Mrs. Pitchford.
Following funeral services conducted by Elder L. A. Stewart, the remains were laid to rest Sunday afternoon in the Howser Cemetery on Long Creek. She was a professed Christian, although she was not identified with any church. She had lived in Lafayette for the last 22 years and was favorably known here. She was the daughter of Will and Mary Dotson Meador.
