After having been in failing health for some time from a kidney disorder, Burford Bray, a 78 year old farmer of near Webbtown passed away at four o’clock Saturday afternoon. His last illness began Tuesday and he grew steadily worse till the end. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nan Bray; one son, Odell Bray, and daughter, Miss Dezzie Bray, both of near Webbtown; two brothers, Alex and Bill Bray, both residing in this county, two sisters, Mrs. Belle Pipkin of Texas, and Mrs. Laura Freeman of the county. Following brief funeral services conducted by the undertaker, Homer Alexander, burial was made at three o’clock Sunday afternoon in the McDonald cemetery.
