Seeking info on ‘any’ QUEEN by surname who was in the state of TN. Our family is John Queen b. ca. 1774 m. 1st unknown, 7 (unk.) children. He then married Mary CAMPBELL on 4-30-1816 in Maury Co. They had 3 chidren, 2 known. His son, James Campbell QUEEN b. 5-7-1819 m. Priscilla JOBE ca. 1845. I find John in Maury Co in 1812-1816, Lincoln land grant 1816 and then Franklin Co in 1820. He is not found before or after this. James Campbell QUEEN shows up in Wayne Co ca. 1860. Please contact me if you have any QUEEN relatives.

I am looking for my grand-father ROBERT MOYERS, he was found in the 1920 Census of Limestone County Ala, but later moved to Lincoln County TN with my grand-mother WILLIE B. JACOBS MOYERS. He died around the later part of 1925 or early 1926, no record can be found. My grand-mohter remarried WESLEY STEVENSON in 1929 – both died in 1930 and are buried at Pleasent Hill Cem in the Vann Town/Flintville Area.

I am trying to locate information relative to the Davidson Family in Lincoln County, Tennessee. My great great uncle, Asbury Bascom Davidson, was Lieutenant Governor of the State of Texas. His bio states he was born in Lincoln Co, TN on 11/13/1855, and the family moved to Texas in the 1860’s. His father was William L. Davidson – who first married Martha L. Brandon of TN, and after her death, married Catherine McComb – is referred to as Captain in his obituary. I’m also interested in learning in his Civil War service.

DONALDSON cir 1780-1805 New information I have indicates that John Mabry DONNEL who was born abt 1801 in Tennessee might have been the son of a DONALDSON (DONNELSON/DONELSON or perhaps Mc/Mac DONALD). I believe that his family originated in the Carolinas, PA, maybe MD. I would really like to find the parents of John Mabry DONNEL. Does anyone have a DONALDSON family with a John, b abt 1801 in TN?
