I am researching a JOHN BISHOP married to RUTH ELKINS who died in the area of Lincoln TN and supposedly had a Will on file (may have been North Carolina at the time). He died circa 1775. I have found several references to this Will but never a copy or record book number.

I am looking for imformation about my grandfather in Fayetville Tn. His name was John HILL, Married to Kathrine BOST or Kathrine HAMBRICK in 1916, 1917, 1918 and disappered we believe in 1918. I have no imformation about him, I dont know his age or even his middle initial. Thank you

Gottfried KERCHER/CARRIGER and his family arrived in the Watauga Valley 1782. His six living children married into the above named Carter County families. The family moved on into Washington, Lincoln, Hamblen, Sullivan, Jefferson, Knox and Johnson Counties in Tennessee. I have compiled a history of this above average pioneer family…1592 forward many generations.

Seeking info on the family of John MCCONNELL and Anne LEWIS. Has anyone located them in the 1790-1820 census? They should be in Lincoln Co, TN. Has anyone found a death record for them? They may have been married in Amherst Co, VA about 1762. Thanks for any help. 1. John McConnel, died aft. 1802 in Fayetteville, Lincoln, TN. I am seeking a census lookup on a JAMES family from a county surounding Marion Co.,Tn. My g.grandfather was Jack James(b.1872) he had a brother-Andy and a sister Francis.Rumor has it that Jack was raised by a man named Jack TURNER. I am looking for my ancestors, Jacob Petty and his wife and their children. George was one child and was married to Francis Williams and moved to Carroll Co. TN. They were in Lincoln Co.
